Failing to get her drinking under control, Linda Carter found herself locked away after her husband became fed up with her behaviour.
Next week, Linda is devastated when Mick doesn't defend her after overhearing the locals gossiping about her. After drunkenly hitting her head, she becomes annoyed when Tina refuses to serve her any alcohol.

The following day, Linda promises yet again to jump back into "dry January", trying desperately to make Mick see she doesn't need to go to rehab, but unfortunately the temptation becomes too much for the pub landlady.
Trying to distract herself from drinking, Linda suggests a day out with the family, but her joyful behaviour is short-lived after making a discovery.

The following day, Linda is nowhere to be found. Tina and Mick are at their wits end trying to locate her.
Unaware that Linda has also taken Ollie out of school, she later returns home to her panicking family, but she insists she's done nothing wrong. - How much more can this family take before Linda realises she needs help?
