Linda Carter's alcoholism will go to a whole new level next month when the landlady starts to drink openly in front of her family, instead of rushing off to her hiding places.
Linda, who is already furious after a bad day, reacts badly when she overhears a conversation between Mick and his mum. Shirley urges her son to put Ollie first, and with Mick at the end of his tether he snaps at Linda, which pushes Linda to react by angrily throwing her drink over him.
