Next week Jean Slater becomes frustrated with Daniel when he continues to seemingly not care about his terminal illness, and when the couple receive the news that his local hospice is closing down, Jean insists he stay with her.
In a bid to cheer Daniel up, Jean comes up with a plan with the help of Kush and Mo, but things take a turn when she receives a phone call from the hospital, they have the results of her treatment. Things get emotional when Jean informs Daniel of the news, and he promises not to die until he finds out the result.

Attending her oncology appointment with Mo, Jean is overwhelmed when she is told her MRI scan has come back clear.
When she returns home, Jean feels guilty over her result and lies to Daniel, saying her results weren't available., but it's not long before Mo reveals that Jean was given the all clear.
