Viewers were shocked when Jean Slater suffered a seizure in last night's
episode, but next week the story will take a turn when Suki Panesar becomes
involved after making a shocking discovery.
Jean's seizure happened in the day following Kush and Shirley's intervention,
secretly giving her medication in her food, and the pair were also seen
doubling her dose hoping it would kick-start her recovery, unaware they were
giving Jean an overdose.

After Tina calls for an ambulance, Suki steps in to help as they await the medics arrival, but when they arrive Suki discovers all may not be what it seems. More truths will later be revealed at the hospital, but what will that mean for Kush and Shirley?
Speaking about Jean's grief after losing Daniel, actor Gillian Wright who
plays her told Digital Spy: "Jean thought she was coping with Daniel's
death very very well and he would be proud of her.
"He would want her to be more feisty, be more Jean and so she's thinking
right, I'm doing really well, I'm not weeping and wailing all over the place
so I don't need to take the tablets.
"She thinks she's dealing with it brilliantly. Clearly she isn't. If she
didn't think she wasn't dealing with it brilliantly she wouldn't be acting the
way that she is."
EastEnders air these scenes next week on BBC One.
