Tiffany and Keegan Baker's marriage has been a tough old ride from the very
beginning, but the young couple have bravely tackled every negative situation
that has presented itself, but Keegan's recent struggle with the police has
nearly cost him his marriage.
Speaking to
Digital Spy actor
Maisie Smith, who plays Tiffany, has teased what the future may hold for the
couple: "I don't think they have anything to worry about in regards to their
relationship. They both still love each other, they're just going through
their own problems."
"That's how they started anyway. Their relationship stems from healing each
other whilst healing themselves, so they don't have anything to fear." she
said.
Sadly there will tough times ahead for Jack Branning as Keegan went behind his
back and released the video evidence that could cost Jack his job. Maisie
explained: "It was an awkward situation because she understood why he did
it – he's been through so much and he wants to get his story out there because
obviously it has been hard.
"She also understands that it could massively hurt her uncle's career and
completely jeopardise it. So it puts her in an awkward position, as they are
the two closest people in her life right now and they're not getting along."
But will Keegan's behaviour push his wife away for good: "With him
pushing her away, it's taking a toll on their relationship. Keegan needs to
let her in, that's how their relationship will be healed."
EastEnders airs twice weekly on BBC One.
