EastEnders has revealed that Sharon Mitchell will return to Walford next week,
and she's made a massive decision about her future.
Following the death of her son, Sharon decided to take some time away from
Albert Square and flew out to spend a few weeks with Michelle Fowler.
Just before she left, Phil was feeling hopeful of a reunion, but his hopes
were dashed when Sharon declined his offer of taking over the Vic.
Thankfully, when she returns Sharon reveals she's had a change of heart and
wants to get back with her husband, later telling Linda that she plans to give
her marriage another go.

Later at the pub, Phil and Sharon celebrate after announcing they will be the new owners of the Vic, but things soon turn sour when Karen and Billy arrive.
Taking refuge upstairs, Sharon is faced with more heartache when Linda comes
across some of Dennis's belongings.

As Sharon tries to deal with her grief, she reveals to Linda that she's having doubts about giving up custody of her son Kayden.
Desperately trying to push through her feelings, Sharon drops off the rest of
Kayden's belongings with Karen, but she's left battling her instincts when
she's asked to watch her son while Karen gets ready for a night out.

When Karen returns, she finds Sharon and Kayden asleep on the sofa, and she reminds her it's not too late to change her mind, but Sharon insists it's for the best.
Back home, both Sharon and Phil plan for the future alone, but is it really
what Sharon wants?
EastEnders air these scenes next week on BBC One.
