Many of you may be unaware that Hollyoaks' Tamara Wall got her big soap break in EastEnders, but sadly things didn't turn out how they were supposed to after a change at EastEnders.
Tamara played Martina Quinn, a friend of Kat Moon's who turned up in Walford in 2011 with her daughter Shenice, telling Kat the Spanish police smashed up her bar, leaving her with nothing, so Kat allows them to stay.
Speaking to The Dog in The Pond podcast, Tamara revealed: "I ended up doing this little part in EastEnders, which was meant to develop into something more. And then there was the whole thing at EastEnders with the baby swapping story, which just went ridiculous."

"For whatever reason, Bryan [Kirkwood, producer] decided to leave EastEnders and because of that, whoever came in went: 'Oh, I don't know who Tamara is'. My character was dropped."
"The best thing is that, unlike anything in this business, I got a hand-written letter from Bryan through the post to my home address saying: 'I'm so, so sorry it didn't work out for your part.
"'I thought you were fabulous and I feel partly responsible for the fact that the part hasn't carried on. I want you to know that, wherever I go to from now on, you will be first in my thoughts if something crops up'.
"What a lovely thing to do." she concluded.
EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One.
