Maisie Smith who plays Tiffany Baker could potentially face the chop after breaking her contract with EastEnders.
Fans of Maisie who follow her social media, especially her TikTok account, will know she puts out some fun content. The young actor can be seen dancing with her mum to popular music tracks. That's sadly where the problem lies.
Soap bosses are reportedly "angry" and "extremely disappointed" with Maisie after it was claimed she was offered a huge sum of money by a record label to play their artists music in her videos. So what's the problem?
As with any job, the contract will stipulate if an employee can take on any extra paid work. It is also claimed that Maisie had asked soap bosses before when she was offered a similar deal, but she was forbidden and reminded of the strict clause in her contract.

An EastEnders insider said to The Sun Online: “EastEnders do not take matters like this lightly. There's no blanket rule on deals, and they take each case on its own merit.
“But if they're asked if it's OK and the star is told 'No', they take a very dim view about it then happening. Paired up with the incident a few weeks ago, it doesn't look good.
“She will be spoken to in no uncertain terms and told it will not happen again.” Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the soap told OK! online: “We are looking into this matter.”
EastEnders returns Monday 7th September, 8pm on BBC One.
