EastEnders' Billy on the Warpath after Honey Mitchell Assault

Upcoming scenes will see Honey Mitchell agree to go on a second date with newcomer Paul, but things take a dark turn when he spikes her drink.

Next week, Honey desperately tries to put the pieces together about what happened during her date, but she's unable to remember everything.

As Honey awaits the results of forensics to see if she was sexually assaulted, she meets DC Ward who has been assigned to her case.

Later, Jay goes against Honey's wishes and tells Billy what happened to her. Thankfully Paul is arrested after police find video evidence on his phone.

However, when Honey reveals that Paul has been released on bail, Billy is raging and goes looking for him.

When Jay realises what Billy is up to, he finds him with a brick ready to strike Honey's attacker. Will he stop him in time?

Speaking to Digital Spy about her new storyline, actor Emma Barton said: "It was really quite emotional. I really truly believed myself that this happened because the writing was so brilliant and well-researched, and because I'd done my homework I really wanted to show how this can affect somebody.

"Also for people that know somebody that's been through this, they see these episodes and then maybe support or reach out and help a friend. It can really take a part of that person away in a split second. It was harrowing and I can't believe this really happens. It's actually very frightening."
