Before EastEnders returned to our screens after lockdown, Danny Dyer revealed the soap was about to air one of Mick Carter's biggest storylines ever, and it all kicked off after newcomer Frankie Lewis dropped the bombshell that Mick was her father.
Upcoming scenes will see Tina Carter become intrigued by information about Frankie's mother, Katy. We revealed yesterday that EastEnders are tackling the issue of child abuse within this story, as Mick would have been underage at the time of Frankie's conception.

As Mick's erratic behaviour continues, Linda becomes concerned and puts it down to his recent appearance in court.
When Linda pops into The Albert to speak to Tina, the pair head off, but not before Tina asks Frankie to mind the bar while she's gone.
Unfortunately when Kathy Beale arrives at the bar, she's furious to find the place empty. Frankie has decided to go and find her dad.
During a heart-to-heart with Mick, Frankie tells him she completely understands if he decides not to tell his family about her.

When Frankie returns to the Albert, she's met by a furious Tina who trusted her to keep an eye on the bar. Thankfully Frankie manages to smooth the situation over by opening up to Tina about her mother, Katy.
Later, Tina relishes in telling the family about Frankie and her mother, gossip that brings a flood of bad memories for Mick.
Speaking about Mick's new storyline, actor Danny Dyer revealed to The One Show: "The storyline I’ve been gifted with, is by far the best storyline I’ve ever had. I wish I could tell you more but it’s a powerful thing."
