EastEnders actor Max Bowden who plays Ben Mitchell has teased what's coming up for his character and Callum Highway this Christmas, the one time of year where anything goes!
Speaking to Digital Spy, Max said: "The trouble is Callum is too far in now – he's living in the house, we are currently trying to see this relationship with Thompson to try and get Phil.
"Ben has always been in a dichotomy of Callum or Phil, and this situation could potentially answer that question for him."
With Kat approaching Ben over a potential job involving stealing cars from a firm she cleans for, Max said: "Ben has been sceptical about getting back into too much crime. I think Kat has never been a trustworthy person anyway, as far as the Mitchells are concerned.
With the upcoming job now involving Shirley and Kush, something Ben isn't particularly happy about, Max reveals: "I think Ben thinks Kush is quite an amateur when it comes to these sorts of crimes. He's never really been involved in the Mitchell criminal empire, and he is someone that Ben isn't particularly aware of.
"A lot of their confrontation stems from the Martin feud, so they are precocious of Kush being involved because he is an amateur and he isn't up to the job.
"Ben and Shirley care a lot for each other. It's a relationship me and Linda Henry find quite interesting.

"I think in that dynamic there is a trust when it comes to Shirley, whereas with the other figures surrounding the job, the trust is slightly lacking."
Are you looking forward to Christmas 2020 in Albert Square?
