EastEnders' Max and Linda Caught in the Act

The cracks in Mick and Linda Carter's marriage continue to widen next week, and when her stress levels reach new heights, Linda heads off to the park and contemplates drinking again.

Thankfully she's stopped from making a huge mistake by Max Branning. The pair then head off to a restaurant and have a heart-to-heart where they share a kiss. Unfortunately for them, someone they both know has witnessed everything.

Back in Walford, Max confronts Ian once again over the money he owes him, but this time Ian has the upper hand and reveals he see Max kissing Linda and will expose them if he doesn't back off.

Later, Sharon becomes concerned after learning Max has threatened using the pub to get his money back, but Ian tells her he's sorted the problem.

As Max rages from his altercation with Ian, he starts to plot his own revenge, like everyone else in Walford. 

When the pair cross paths again, Max demands his money back or he'll put Ian out of his misery.

As tensions between Max and Ian escalate, Ian is forced to come clean to Sharon and reveal the true mess he's in, insisting there's only one way out of the situation.
