From short-lived supervillains to characters who have grown up in Walford in front our eyes, residents of Albert Square come and go. These posts look into the actors behind their Walford personas and what they're up to these days.
Billie Jackson played by Devon Anderson
Devon Anderson was a child actor who grew up in EastEnders, joining the soap in 1993 as Carol Jackson's youngest child, Billie.
After his first stint on EastEnders, Devon went on to land a role in Channel 4's Hollyoaks, before returning to Walford after Bradley Branning's death. Sadly the character went on to die in 2010 in a tragic storyline about excessive drinking.

So what is Devon up to these days? Well, like most of us probably not
much, but after his stint in EastEnders the actor went on to land small roles
in shows like Doctors before landing the role of Jamil in Sky One's
Sinbad in 2016.
Since then, Devon has made a number of appearances on stage, and a few short-films. As well as acting, he is currently perusing a career as a disc jockey (DJ), TV presenter, and as a voice over artist.
Dan Sullivan played by Craig Fairbrass

Dan Sullivan will go down in EastEnders history as one of the best
villains we loved to hate. He was part of the hugely successful Who Shot Phil?
storyline in 2001, kidnapped Mel Owen, demanding a whopping £200,000 ransom
for her safe return, and of course having an affair with his fiancé's
daughter, Bianca Jackson.
When asked by OK! Magazine what Dan Sullivan is probably up to, actor Craig Fairbrass said: "I think Dan is still hiding in Spain somewhere with a big bag of money… it's funny as most actors don't know what they're doing tomorrow.

"All I can say is I had a great time on the show, it came at the right time for me, as I had two young kids and it got me right outta trouble. I'm very grateful and have nothing but very fond memories."
Craig has gone on to star with some of Hollywood's best-loved actors including Sylvester Stallone, and has landed some pretty epic movie roles, and there's no sign of his work slowing down in the future.
Since leaving EastEnders, Craig has starred in an astonishing 34 movies, and is currently filming two right now.

Jake Moon played by Joel Beckett
There was a time when the Moon family was bigger than the Carters, and when Jake and Danny moon arrived on the square in 2004, the drama really escalated.
Cousin of Alfie Moon, Jake was always looking out for his livewire brother, something that nearly cost him his life. Sadly, when he was trying to stop Danny from killing Phil Mitchell, Jake accidentally killed his brother.
