Last night's episode was packed with drama, including the confession from Lola Pearce that she slept with Peter Beale during a brief break-up with Jay earlier this year.
Next week, Lola tells Peter that she told her boyfriend about the fling, and warns him to keep a look out.
Later, an argument erupts between Jay and Lola before he storms off to find Peter, leaving Lola worried about what will happen next.
Speaking about Jay and Lola's relationship, actor Jamie Borthwick said: "If everything was going well with them, she wouldn't have told Jay. It happened a while ago and they could have carried on happily but it was eating away at her.
"They're feeling the distance from both sides because Jay has also been busy supporting Honey too."
