EastEnders' Peter Beale makes shocking discovery trying to help Lauren Branning

EastEnders' Peter Beale will be left seething next week after making yet another shocking discovery about his dad, Ian.

Ian is currently in everyone's bad books after defrauding his own mother, ripping off Max Branning, and even upsetting his life-long friend, Sharon Mitchell.

The week will kick off with Peter receiving a call from Lauren Branning, who reveals their house has burned down in New Zealand.

With the mother of his child stranded with nowhere to turn, Peter approaches his father for financial help, but Ian is penniless.

Later, Peter is left devastated when he looks on his father's laptop and discovers Ian's will. He's shocked to learn that everything Ian owns is being left to Bobby, and his granddaughter Abi.

Unfortunately, Peter takes his anger out on Bobby who has absolutely no idea what he's talking about.

Thankfully after a chat with Ash, Peter sees it's not Bobby's fault and apologises to him. Sensing the tension between the siblings, Kathy urges Peter to make a huge step and forgive his little brother over the death of his twin, Lucy.

With the brother's seemingly putting their past behind them, Peter asks Bobby to help financially, using the money from the Lucy Beale Foundation, saying it's what Lucy would have wanted.

Will Bobby agree to help Peter and Lauren? What will Max do when he finds out his daughter and grandson are homeless, and will Ian finally do the right thing?
