Mick Carter is set to spark more concern for his family next week when he turns up with a black eye. As Max and Linda enjoy a playdate with Ollie and Abi, they are both surprised when Mick walks through the door with an injury to his face.
Once Max leaves, Linda demands to know2 what's going on, but Mick fobs her off with a story about being mugged.
Later, Mick takes Linda for dinner where he seems to be acting like his old self, but when they arrive home that evening, he pretends to fall asleep to avoid speaking to his wife.

After more tension within their marriage the following day, Mick makes the decision to call Katy, revealing to her that he's feeling lost and confused like he did in his childhood.
