Yep, it's only two days until Christmas Day, when the hell did that happen? Feels like yesterday it was still March. Anyway, the good thing is we only have two days to go until we get our action packed extra-long episode, and sadly this is one present Denise Fox could do without.
As Christmas Day arrives, Denise heads off to see her eldest daughter, Chelsea. Sadly she's gobsmacked to see her with her ex-husband Lucas.
Considering Lucas has killed three people and a dog, it stands to reason why Denise would be so worried for her daughter.

Speaking about Lucas and Chelsea's return to Walford, EastEnders boss Jon Sen
revealed: "The fact that Chelsea has kept contact with Lucas causes a
huge sense of betrayal and fractures the family because of everything that
Lucas did when he was last on the Square. "Denise really struggles with
reconciling the daughter she knows with the ex-husband that treated her so
terribly."
"He's a wonderful character played by a wonderful actor and I was really
excited by the opportunity to bring him back to the Square and find out what
trouble he can bring to Denise's life in the wake of her reuniting with
Raymond," he said.

Chelsea will receive a shock of her own when discovers her mum now has custody
of her little brother, Raymond. But it's unlikely going to be a merry
Christmas as Patrick and Kim set out to find a way of keeping Lucas away from
Albert Square. Will they succeed?
EastEnders air these scenes on Christmas Day on BBC One.
