As Ian Beale continues to recover following his attack last week, he begins to experience flashbacks, and one of those involves his younger brother, Ben Mitchell.
As Ian tries to settle in at home, Kathy is occupied with her grandson Bobby as he struggles with his mental health.
Kathy is fuming with Peter when she later discovers he knew how bad Bobby was, but when he retaliates, his harsh words annoy Ben who punches him to the ground.
Ben's violent outburst triggers a flashback for Ian who later tells Sharon that it was Ben who attacked him in the pub.

Things go from bad to worse for Ben when Suki Panesar approaches him with some incriminating evidence of her own. She reveals that she has seen the CCTV footage from the Minute Mart that shows him leaving the Vic at the time Ian was attacked.
Later, Ian is left terrified when he finds a letter addressed to him at the pub, with a bullet inside. Ian knows the person who attacked him still wants him dead, but was it Ben?
