Mick Carter will reach a turning point in his life next week when he finally comes to terms with what happened to him as a child.
Mick has spent weeks sifting through his accounts of what really happened to him as a child after Katy Lewis convinced him he was making it all up.
Linda tires one final time to speak to her husband, telling him she knows he's clearly going through something serious, completely unaware of how tragic it really is.
Later, Max presents Linda with tickets to New Zealand for them to start their new life abroad, but Linda isn't ready and feels he's rushing everything.

Later in the week, Mick has a flashback to his childhood where he realises what really happened with Katy Lewis.
As New Year's Day arrives, Mick decides to tackle his demons head on. Taking matters into his own hands, he turns up on Katy's doorstep, and she's not happy to see him.
Will Mick finally get justice over his abuse, and will he get Linda back before it's too late?
EastEnders air these scenes next week on BBC One.
