Stuart Highway was left devastated in last week's episode after Tiffany Baker made it clear that she no longer wanted to be their surrogate.
Upcoming scenes will see Rainie become distraught when she finds out Tiffany has pulled out of the deal, leading to the couple becoming prime suspects in Ian Beale's attack.
Next week, Stuart books an appointment for the pair to look at other avenues of having their own baby, but things take a turn when Stuart is thrown by his wife's reaction.
Confused, Stuart asks Rainie why she's acting out of character, he also demands to know where she was on the the night of Ian's attack in the Vic.
