It has been a torturous few months for Mick Carter who has suffered with his mental health after coming to terms with the abuse he suffered as a child.
In heart-warming scenes which aired yesterday, Mick made the decision to try and build a relationship with his daughter, Franke. Sadly it's not going to be that easy when newcomer Jed arrives in Walford.
Mick's recent struggles almost cost him his wife when Linda grew closer to Max Branning after feeling pushed out of her marriage.
With upcoming scenes showing the couple rebuild what they've lost, everything could be turned on its head when Jed arrives.

As Frankie prepares to visit the cemetery on the anniversary of her brother Harry's death, Frankie introduces Linda to Jed, Harry's brother.
When Jed reveals Harry's dad had nothing to do with him, alarm bells start ringing for Linda, who suspects that all is not as it seems.
Linda asks if she can accompany them to the crematorium where she starts probing Jed for more information about his father. Linda clearly hits a nerve when Jed storms off and later takes his frustrations out on Frankie.
