Ahead of Max Branning's final scenes, after failing to blackmail Phil Mitchell, Max reveals to Linda that he has an idea that could help her family.
When Max reveals that he knows about Mick's childhood abuse, Linda is left seething when she realises he must have found out from Jack Branning.
Hoping to put things right, Jack heads over to see Mick to apologise for telling his brother about his case, but Mick is not interested and goes in search of Max.
After Mick finds Max and punches him, Max tells him Linda doesn't love him and is only with him out of pity because of the abuse.

After the altercation, Mick threatens Max, telling him if he goes near Linda again, he'll kill him. As Jack steps in to diffuse the situation, he's shocked to learn what his brother said to Mick.
Will Mick force Max to leave Walford once and for all? And could Jack lose his job for discussing an ongoing case?
Speaking about his decision to leave EastEnders, actor Jake Wood said: "There's not much for him in Walford, if I'm honest. He hasn't got a car lot. He hasn't got a business there. Ian Beale's gone missing, still owing him a tonne of money," he said. "It's all gone a bit wrong for him."
