Phil Mitchell has been helping ex-wife Sharon Beale over the last few months, leaving viewers convinced the pair will be getting back together.
In Friday's episode, Phil was seen bonding with Kayden, and even asked Sharon on a date next week, but it seems he'll have a change of heart.
Next week, Ben will be furious with his dad when he finds out he's asked Sharon on a date. Kathy is also furious with her ex when he fails to help her find Ian. Both mother and son accuse him of falling under Sharon's spell.

After telling Ben and Kathy to stay out of his love life, Kat turns up to ask him if she can borrow a car to do something important. Unfortunately as soon as she's on the road, the car breaks down.
As Phil makes his way to the restaurant to meet Sharon, he's stopped by Kat who angrily complains about the car she borrowed.
The hold up leaves Sharon upset and she eventually returns to the Vic. When Phil turns up at the pub to apologise, she's stunned when he explains it's not the right time for the pair to rekindle their relationship.
