EastEnders has revealed an upcoming romance will spark trouble for Whitney Dean and Kush Kazemi in the coming weeks.
Off the back of his split from Kat Slater, Kush starts spending more time with Whitney and the pair share a night of passion on Valentine's Day.
As Whitney battles with her feelings for Gray, Kush becomes a much needed distraction. Actor Shona McGarty who plays her, revealed to Digital Spy: "Kush is a really kind man and especially through the storyline with Leo and Whitney, Kush was there by her side with Kat, so he's got her back.

"So I think Valentine's Day kind of sums up how Whitney's always been blind to the potential of Kush and Whitney but it's been right in front of her. I just think Kush is a great guy and Whitney needs a good guy in her life." she said.
How will Kat Slater react to Whitney hooking up with her ex? Shona explained: "Whitney's terrified of Kat's reaction,"
"She is not looking forward to it at all. She's imagining that Kat will tear her hair out and probably end up trying to have a fight with Whitney. She's really anxious about it."

Another worry for fans will be Gray Atkins. Viewers know he murdered his wife, Chantelle, and Tina Carter over Christmas.
The character has also been showing signs of obsession over Whitney. Could this latest twist see Kush Kazemi be Gray's next victim? Davood Ghadami who plays Kush revealed last year that he would be leaving the soap after six years.
