Linda Carter could be about to change the lives of her family next week when she makes a surprising proposition.
Linda recently discovered her best-friend Sharon, arranged for Ian to be battered by Phil Mitchell, then letting Tina Carter take the blame.
Next week sees Mick take a huge step in his life by finally giving the police a statement about the abuse he suffered at the hands of Katy Lewis. When he returns to the square, he meets Linda in the Vic.
In the pub, Mick confesses to his wife that he misses being the landlord even though it was best for the family to move out.

With Mick's confession ringing in her ears, Linda takes Sharon to one side and makes a proposition, reminding the current landlady that she owes the family. Will Sharon agree to Linda's demands?
Elsewhere, Gillian Taylforth (Kathy Beale) and Letitia Dean (Sharon Beale) have been spotted filming on location, attending the funeral of Gavin Sullivan. Gavin is Kathy's ex-husband, and Sharon's biological father.
