Danger as Vinny Panesar Teams Up with Ben Mitchell

Fans of Shiv Jalota will be thrilled to learn the character is set to take centre stage next week when he and Kheerat team up with Ben Mitchell.

Vinny and Kheerat realise their family business is being impacted by their reputation in Walford, so the pair decide to approach Ben Mitchell with a proposition.

When Kheerat spots a thief stealing cans from the Minute Mart, he warns the robber who he's stealing from, but Vinny reminds him the Panesar name no longer means anything.

Determined to raise their profile, Kheerat approaches Ben Mitchell with his idea. Intrigued by the thought of becoming business partners, Ben agrees to meet with Kheerat and Stas at the Arches.

As Kheerat discusses the business proposition, he's taken aback when Stas reveals he doesn't trust Ben Mitchell.

Stas goes on to reveal he knows the Mitchell's have been bad-mouthing him and demands his money back, or he'll ruin them.

With Ben and Kheerat trying to deal with their unfolding problem, elsewhere Vinny has a problem of his own developing.

As Vinny rushes over to the Arches with the money for Stas, he's cornered by the thief from the Minute Mart, but this time the thief has brought backup.

As Ben and Kheerat wait nervously for him to arrive, the pair try to keep Stas calm, completely unaware of the danger Vinny is in.

Speaking of the upcoming episodes, Shiv Jalota who plays Vinny said: "He thinks he could die, but more in his head is that he needs to get the cash to Kheerat by any means possible.

"If that means fighting the thieves away, if that means being a firework and suddenly going for them.

"He's not the strongest of guys but he's quick and he's fast. His survival instinct kicks in and it's fight of flight. His main fear is what this would do to his relationship with Kheerat if he didn't get the money to him. If he lost the money that would be endgame for him."
