Two of EastEnders' much loved actors will star alongside each other in a new
drama by BBC One and HBO Max, playing a married couple.
The upcoming thriller, The Girl Before, will be a four-part series and
will also star Selma's David Oyelowo and The Morning Show's
Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Based on a book of the same name written by JP Delaney, the
story centres on Jane, who jumps at the chance to move into a gorgeous,
ultra-modern house designed by a mysterious architect.
Soon after arriving though, she learns that to live there, she must abide by
his list of exacting rules.

During her stay, she starts to notice her new home changing around her in
unexpected ways, and when she uncovers more about the woman who used to occupy
the residence, Emma (Jessica Plummer), she begins to worry that she'll end up
suffering the same fate.
The Girl Before will stream on HBO Max in the US, and will air on BBC One and
BBC iPlayer in the UK
