After 15 dramatic years, Jake Wood stepped down from the role of Max Branning, with no intention of returning any time soon.
Today it has been revealed that Jake will slip back into Max's suit to officiate a wedding for an EastEnders superfan!
The Max Branning fan reached out to the actor over social media, asking: "Would you officiate my wedding as Max Branning? Nothing weird. Non-religious. Thanks."
When the fan informed Jake that their wedding would be taking place in April 2022, he simply replied "I'll do it!"
