Ruby Allen has been deceiving her husband ever since his ex-wife returned to Walford last year, but things have taken a dark turn after the club owner miscarried her baby, then blamed Stacey in a bid to turn Martin against her.
Speaking to Digital Spy, James Bye spoke about Martin's unconventional marriage: "At the start he never wanted to leave Ruby because it would be his third divorce but to find out all that she has done, he would react badly, it would be like almost the end for him."

When asked if Martin actually believes that Stacey could push pregnant Ruby down the stairs, the actor said: "There is doubt because he knows Stacey inside out, but when you've got one person telling you one thing and he knows that Stacey can be a volatile character as well, in the heat of the moment was it an accident? I think he struggles with that throughout.
"He definitely believes it's her fault, but there is still doubt. His trust in Ruby is definitely shaken, but he makes a decision and sticks with it," he said.
