As Ruby continues with her lie that Stacey Slater was responsible for her fall down the stairs, the storyline took a shocking turn tonight when Martin revealed he has reported his ex-wife to the police.
Ruby, who miscarried her baby the day before the fall, became irritated when she spotted Stacey playing with Hope in the square. Her annoyance lead her to question Martin over his loyalty.
Martin and Ruby broke the news to Stacey that she has been reported to the police, so tomorrow Stacey wastes no time in heading to the station to give her own statement.
She tells the officer that CCTV footage will prove that Ruby fell down the stairs, but the club owner later insists the camera in that part of the club is broken.

Ruby thinks she has one over on Stacey, that is until Martin reveals to his shocked wife that he actually had the camera repaired weeks earlier.
Meanwhile, during a conversation with Gray, Martin is urged to prepare to have the children move in with him in case Stacey goes to jail.
Determined not to go to prison for something she didn't do, Stacey explains that Ruby has made up the story for revenge. Will they believe her?
EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One.
