EastEnders: Stacey Slater finally learns her fate

Stacey Slater will finally learn her fate next week as she heads off to her hearing after being falsely accused of pushing pregnant Ruby down the stairs, resulting in the loss of her unborn baby.

Upcoming scenes will see Stacey panic when it becomes more likely that she will receive a custodial sentence as a result of Ruby's lies.

As Jean worries over Stacey's future, Lily is left wondering why more isn't being done to prove Ruby is lying.

Later, Lily is given a much needed distraction from her hectic home life after Will explains he knows what's going on with Stacey, so he invites her to Janet's party to take her mind off things.

At the party, Will unintentionally gives the schoolgirl an idea when he reveals how Honey's accident brought his family together.

Back home, Lily overhears the family discuss the possibility of Stacey going to prison. Shortly afterwards Lily is found lying motionless at the bottom of the stairs.

Believing Lily is seriously injured, a frantic Stacey calls for an ambulance. Sadly Lily's attempt at bringing Martin and Stacey together fail when the pair have their final showdown.

Later, Stacey is seen with her bag packed heading off to court to find out if she'll spend the next six months behind bars.

With actor Lacey Turner on maternity leave, the outcome is not looking good for Stacey. EastEnders air these scenes next week on BBC One.
