Callum was left devastated earlier this week when his partner Fitzy was
stabbed by a mugger, ultimately blaming himself for how the situation
unfolded.
Next week, despite initially giving Callum any information on Fitzy's
condition, Ash Panesar reveals the young police officer is in a stable
condition.
The conversation is overheard by Whitney Dean, but Callum is sworn to secrecy
by Ash. Callum's ex urges him to be more open with Ben, but he decides to put
it off once again until he's had a chance to speak to Fitzy.

Later, Ben watches Callum and Whitney get into a taxi, unaware they are going to visit his colleague in hospital. Sadly, Ben immediately leaps to the wrong conclusion and the newlywed assumes his husband is having an affair.
At the hospital, Callum tells Whitney that he's struggling to deal with the
stabbing incident and can't face going home.
Whitney soon recognises that Callum is suffering with PTSD. Will Callum be
okay?
EastEnders air these scenes next week on BBC One.
