EastEnders star teases Gray Atkins' downfall

If there's one thing EastEnders viewers are united on, it's that Gray Atkins needs to be brought to justice.

The killer lawyer has so far murdered Chantelle Atkins, Tina Carter, and Kush Kazemi, and fans of the soap are becoming annoyed that the serial killer is still no closer to being caught . . . until now?

Gray has currently entered into a relationship with Denise Fox's daughter Chelsea, and he assumes she is simply high maintenance, completely unaware that she has met many monsters like him throughout her life.

Speaking to the Metro, Zaraah Abrahams who plays Chelsea has teased: "It’s been such a huge storyline. Chelsea is always in other people’s business so I think she is a big stem to him falling apart."

Revealing her worries that Chelsea could become Gray's next victim, Zaraah explained: "I mean there’s always the element of “oh no I have a mortgage to pay, what’s happening!?” But I just feel very lucky so if it were to come to an end then that would be absolutely fine, I have worked with so many of the actors. Touch wood she comes out fighting, let’s hope!"

Speaking of the change in dynamics where Gray is not the one calling the shots, Zaraah said: "Maybe he is just making her feel like she is in control. But for now, he seems to be enjoying not being the boss in everything"

Upcoming scenes will see Chelsea find Tina Carter's earring in Gray's car, something that raises her suspicions around him. This is likely to be the first of many red flags Chelsea will experience as we head into the final chapter of Gray Atkins' downfall.
