Zack Hudson is forced to make a decision over his relationship with Nancy Carter next week after some heated words are exchanged between him and Mick Carter.
Next week Nancy and Zack spend the night together, but the following morning Nancy is quick to get him to leave so he's not seen by any of the family.
With Mick now aware of his daughters relationship with the personal trainer, and fed up seeing Nancy sneaking around, Mick heads over to the gym to speak to Zack where he demands he calls off the relationship.
Back home, Zack is left feeling distraught by Micks demands and he drops an almighty bombshell on Sharon that he is partly responsible for Nancy's hit-and-run.
Eventually Zack breaks off his relationship with Nancy, leaving Mick feeling guilty. Later, Nancy announces that it's time she left Walford.
Furious with Zack's behaviour, Linda storms over to Sharon's where she fires Zack from his job at the Vic, and despite his own reservations Mick goes along with her decision.
As the Carter's team up against him, Zack is shocked when Sharon joins in with the outrage of his treatment of Nancy.
Can Zack smooth things over with the Carter's, especially Nancy, before it's too late?
