The honeymoon period for Lola and Isaac has been a rocky one, and things are
certainly going to be a lot more difficult before they get better for the
young couple.
Talking about the family unit surrounding Isaac, Danielle said: "I think they need to try and accept Lola, I think she's really trying with it," Harold said. "She's really trying her best to just be there for him but Sheree is very overpowering so it makes it hard which is why she reaches out to Patrick and Kim."
"Lola doesn't fully understand schizophrenia and what to do but they don't either, so everyone has different opinions on what's the right thing to do and then to come together as a family to try and support him as best as they can – it's definitely hard." she said.
As Isaac struggles with his condition, Lola is now in a place where she knew
her boyfriend had come off his medication, but things have now snowballed to a
dangerous level where the young mum believes it's her responsibility to
support him.
Speaking to Digital Spy about the storyline, Danielle Harold who plays Lola
explained: "By the point that he becomes really unwell, she realises she
really does love him because she's so worried about him. She just wants him to
be okay."
