Ben Mitchell and Kheerat Panesar will be left panicking next week when the police arrive to ask them a few questions.
Filled with anger after his brother's death, Kheerat recently took revenge against the man who killed Paul Coker.
In upcoming scenes, Kheerat decides to join up with Ben's operation at the Arches and become his business partner.
The businessman hopes his new venture will please his mother Suki, who is currently struggling with her grief, but she makes her feelings known, and she's not happy.
When Jay discovers the new partnership, he suggest that Kheerat should be more of a silent partner. With Jay's feelings known, Callum also appeals to Ben, revealing his concern after what happened to Jags, but Ben insists everything will be fine.
Callum's words soon ring true when Ben and Kheerat begin to clash over important decisions surrounding the business.
Ben is left frustrated when Kheerat reveals he's done a new deal and didn't consult with him first..
As the disagreement turns heated, Ben reveals he wants to cancel his new business arrangement, leaving Kheerat furious.
Later, when Ben arrives to apologise to his new partner about his earlier outburst, the police arrive and they have some alarming questions they want answers to.
EastEnders air these scenes on Tuesday 17th August on BBC One.
