EastEnders will be revisiting Sharon and Phil's plot against Ian Beale in upcoming episodes after Gray makes a surprising admission about Tina Carter.
Serial-killer Gray Atkins tells Shirley that he's sure he see her sister
Tina on a bus, but his lie backfires when she tells Mick that Sharon and Phil
are going down unless they reveal they planned the attack on Ian, and not
Tina.
Next week sees the return of Phil Mitchell who has been away visiting Lisa
and Louise, but upon his arrival he's fuming when he spots the new sign at
the Arches.
As Ben tries to explain the situation, the pair are interrupted by Shirley
who demands that Phil hands himself in over what he and Sharon did to Ian
earlier this year.
Later, Sharon crosses paths with Shirley who delivers the same warning she issued Phil, leaving Sharon fearful of her future.
Sharon heads off to meet with Phil, explaining her regrets over trying to
kill Ian. She also reveals the pressure she's under from Shirley
and Linda to come clean.
Phil reminds Sharon that if she tells the truth, she will face years behind
bars. Later, with Shirley's warning playing heavy on his mind, Phil tries to
get in contact with Sharon but fails.
Determined to keep their dirty deed a secret, Phil leaves Sharon a warning
of his own. Is it already too late?
