As Martin continues to struggle after the separation between him and his wife,
Ruby Allen, Nancy Carter urges the ex-market stall worker to get his pitch
back.
Speaking to Peter Beale, Martin is told he can't have his stall back, so he
can either work in the chip shop or remain unemployed.
After accepting the job, Martin is left frustrated and vents to Nancy about
being forced to work instead of spending time with his daughter, Hope, but
Sharon offers him some words of wisdom, explaining that he's doing the right
thing providing for his family.
When Peter pops in on Martin at the chippy, out of spite Zack breaks Peter's tablet. When he discovers his broken device, Peter blames both Martin and Zack. Could Martin be facing unemployment once again?
Bobby later bumps into him at the Minute Mart where he notices Martin's
card has been declined, so he hatches a plan.
