EastEnders has released the first look pictures of the moment Stacey Slater arrives back on our screens after six months away.
Stacey was wrongly imprisoned after Ruby Allen claimed she was responsible for her falling down the stairs in the club which caused the loss of her baby.
In scenes airing on Thursday 16th September, Martin heads to the prison to visit his ex-wife, revealing he knows the truth about Ruby's scheming.
Speaking about Stacey's return, EastEnders boss Kate Oates said recently: "I'm delighted to see Lacey Turner return to the Square as Stacey."
"Stacey has made a new friend in prison, and will shortly be joined by Eve – her cell mate inside, and her new best friend on the outside…," she teased.
Upcoming scenes will also see Ruby become unstuck as her lies are exposed to Stacey's shocked family.
Jean is determined at this point to clear her daughters name and have her daughter return home. Kate went on to say: "We've got Ruby, who Jean is intent on bringing down and clearing Stacey's name.
"Ruby is going to come to a slightly sticky end so it's fun to see how that plays out, and that means we've also got Stacey's return."
