Confident chappie Aaron Monroe will be arriving in Walford in upcoming
episodes, turning up to check in on his father Harvey, and sister Dana.
Although the character plans a flying visit, Aaron decides to stick around
after a couple of things catch his eye.
Aaron is said to be fiercely loyal to his family, especially his dad who he is
close to, but after getting a city job his arrogance sometimes gets the better
of him.
Speaking about landing the role, actor Charlie Wernham said at the time of casting: "It was always a
childhood dream of mine to be in EastEnders,"

"It’s a show that’s constantly on TV in my household as my family are massive
fans so it’s always been close to my heart. I can’t wait to get cracking and
join an incredibly talented cast!" he said.
Speaking about Aaron Monroe, EastEnders exec producer Jon Sen revealed: "Aaron
joins the Monroes, our newest family set to move into the Square with
connections to the Beale’s."
"In many ways he’s the opposite to his sister Dana and Harvey’s relationship
with them both is likely to be tested. There’s more to Aaron than his bravado
lets on and we look forward to Charlie’s arrival on screen later this year."
EastEnders airs Aaron's arrival 21st October on BBC One.
