Liam Butcher returned to Walford under the guise that he was concerned for his little sister, Tiffany, but it soon became obvious the young man was in desperate need of cash.
Upcoming scenes will see Liam ignore calls from his girlfriend, Cindy Williams, revealing another reason for his sudden arrival.
Later, Peter Beale arrives and explains to Liam that his sister has been in touch with him to ask why her boyfriend is ignoring her calls.
Thankfully for Liam, his aunt steps in and covers for him, giving the young mechanic some time to come up with a plan.
With Liam's new plan set in stone, it coincides with Janine's need to raise some cash herself and a worrying new alliance is formed.
After Janine fails to secure a job with Jay Brown, Liam reveals to his aunt the plan he has and it doesn't take long for Janine to revert back to her old ways.
Later, Liam manages to convince Jay to give Janine a job after inflating her selling abilities, but when Billy discovers what's going on, he issues Janine with an ultimatum. Quit the plan or he'll tell Jay everything.
A determined Janine manages to manipulate Billy to ensure she gets what she wants. What is Janine and her nephew up to? And will they get away with it?
