Gray will fear that his mask is slipping once again next week when Whitney Dean discovers the once high-profile lawyer is working in a fast food restaurant.
The week gets off to a good start for Gray after Kim and Jack help him move Chelsea's belongings into his home, but Chelsea is furious that her fiancé moved her in without her knowledge.
Later, Chelsea's parental skills are put to the test when she is asked by Gray to collect his poorly daughter from school.
When she arrives home with Mia, she's met by Whitney who congratulates her on her engagement, but expresses her concern, asking Chelsea if she's thought it all through.
Chelsea explains that she has made the right decision, and she's sure her future will be bright with Gray, before asking Whitney to help her out looking after Mia.
As Mia continues to be sick, Whitney makes the decision to call Gray's office to let him know about his daughter, but she's shocked when she's told Gray no longer works for the company.
Later, during a conversation with Tiffany, Whitney reveals that Gray is lying about losing his job, but Tiff urges her sister to make sure she has all the facts.
Working his shift at the burger bar, Gray receives a call from Whitney but he's forced to lie about his whereabouts.
As Gray returns home from his shift, Whitney arrives but she's torn on whether to reveal the truth to Chelsea.
EastEnders air these scenes next week on BBC One.
