Viewers were left horrified during Friday's episode, feeling Nancy Carter went
a step too far in her feud with half-sister Frankie Lewis.
The newest edition to the Carter family found herself at the receiving end of
practical jokes courtesy of a jealous Nancy, but the day took a worrying turn
when she locked Frankie in the boot of her new car.
To make things worse, the vehicle was spotted by car thief Liam Butcher, who
currently has a car theft scheme cooked up by his aunt, Janine.
Monday's episode picks up the morning after the theft, and Frankie is still
locked in the boot of the car!
Back at the Vic, the Carter family are now worried when they realise Frankie and the car never returned to the square.
Mick is fuming and demands Nancy tells him what happened between them before
she disappeared, but their argument is being overheard by barmaid Janine.
Worried her nephew was responsible, and also that a car theft could escalate
to a kidnapping, Janine summons her nephew, along with Billy Mitchell, for a
meeting.
Things take a another worrying turn for Janine when she overhears Mick asking
Jack Branning to help find Frankie.
When Jack tells Mick that he's onboard to help locate his daughter and her car, Janine is left having to stall them before a police investigation is underway.
Later, Nancy finally opens up to Mick, explaining her rivalry with Frankie
spiralled out of control due to her jealousy.
Will Janine manage to ensure Frankie is returned home unharmed?
EastEnders air these scenes on Monday 8th November on BBC One.
