With cracks appearing once again within the marriage of Ben Mitchell and
Callum Highway, but things are about to get a whole lot worse when Callum gets
himself arrested.
Next week Kathy Beale is sad to see the Albert empty following the New Year
bomb threat, but Callum comes up with an idea to organise an outdoor event to
bring the community together.
Later, Callum tells Ben that he's organised a party and wants his husband by
his side, but the invitation comes with an ultimatum. Callum explains to Ben
that if their marriage is worth fighting for, he'll be there.
Elsewhere Shirley Carter is hopeful that the street party will see the return
of her sister Tina, still unaware that she was murdered a year ago.
As the street party gets underway, it doesn't take long for the police to arrive who admit they have received a number of noise complaints, ordering Callum to shut down the event, but Callum insists the party continues.
When Jack Branning arrives again later on, he's surprised to see the party
still in full swing, and after some harsh words are exchanged, he arrests his
fellow officer, Callum.
With the New Year bomb threat still on everyone's minds, the following day
creates a whole new panic when an explosion from inside the Argee Bhajee
shocks everyone.
Thankfully the explosion is later confirmed to be from a gas leak in the old restaurant, but there's a surprise in store during the clean up process.
Could we be about to uncover one of Gray's victims?
