Worried that his new wife was about to skip town again, viewers watched as
Gray followed Chelsea to the nightclub as she secretly met with Whitney Dean,
but the quick thinking Chelsea threw a drink over her friend after spotting
Gray walking through the door.
Next week Chelsea tells her mum Denise that she wasn't impressed that the
family were having a dinner party as Jordan fights for his life in hospital,
but Denise reveals to her shocked daughter that she invited her and Gray but
he insisted she rested, something her husband failed to tell her.
Chelsea confronts Gray over his lies, but he insists there must have been a misunderstanding. Later at home Chelsea vents to Whitney over Gray's manipulating, but she urges Chelsea to remain in character so they can catch him out over his involvement in Chantelle's death.
That evening, Chelsea hosts a family dinner and struggles to keep up the
pretence but knows she has to remain calm for the plan to work.
How long can she hold things together? And what will she have to endure to
keep Gray from figuring out their plan?
EastEnders air these scenes next week on BBC One.
