EastEnders First Look: The Truth is Out

Gray Atkins will face his biggest dilemma next week when the police begin to close in on him after Whitney Dean reports him to the police, accusing him of murdering his wife, Chantelle Atkins.

Whitney and Kheerat have been slowly plotting to find out the truth behind Chantelle's death following the discovery of her online messages.

The week gets off to a positive start for Chelsea who is excited to finally hold her son for the first time, but Gray is too distracted by what's going on at the Argee Bhajee, fearing Tina Carter's body could be discovered.

With a positive outlook, Chelsea excitedly shows Gray some pictures she took of their son, but Gray turns nasty and berates her for showing off.

The latest altercation with Gray leaves Chelsea distraught, with her behaviour not going unnoticed by Whitney.

Feeling she has no other option from stopping history repeating, Whitney makes the brave decision to go to the police and report Chantelle's death as a murder.

Speaking to DCI Arthurs, Whitney is feeling hopeful when he insists the police want to help if Chelsea is in danger.

With the drama escalating at the old Indian restaurant, Gray understands it's now only a matter of time before the police realise the true nature of his crimes.

Packing the children's bags and passports, Gray prepares to flee, that is until DCI Arthurs arrives and he has some questions for Gray to answer.
