EastEnders: Tiffany Returns to Walford

Could this be the EastEnders fairytale we've been waiting for? EastEnders has confirmed that Maisie Smith will be returning to the soap - in a guest role - stepping briefly back into the shoes of Tiffany Butcher-Baker.

It was confirmed last week that Zack Morris who plays Keegan Baker, has quit the soap, and with the actor partying at his leaving do this week, it reveals the character will exit from Walford a lot sooner than we thought.

Tiffany was last seen heading off to Germany to be with her brother Liam, and his girlfriend Cindy. When the news broke of Zack's departure from the soap, many were questioning why the pair couldn't have left together, but it looks like that was the plan all along.

Keegan is said to be leaving Albert Square in the spring, with Tiffany's short return used to help wrap up his storyline.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain about a possible return to the soap in the future, Maisie Smith said: "Listen, you never really leave EastEnders, they always manage to find a way to come back. They always bring people back from the dead... Even if I did (die), they'd bring me back at some point, you never know!"
