Jean Slater is currently experiencing a manic episode as Stacey is left unable
to help, but upcoming scenes will see Jean's concerned daughter team up with
her mum's best friend, Shirley Carter.
Next week will see Jean focus all her attention on organising a party to
celebrate her engagement to Harvey Monroe, but her behaviour starts to worry
her granddaughter, Lily.
Later in the week, Shirley joins Jean on a shopping trip as the pair look at
wedding dresses, and it doesn't take long for Shirley to pick up on Jean's
erratic behaviour.
The next day Shirley catches up with Stacey and urges her to get jean the help
she needs.
Using Lily to gain entry into Harvey's flat, Stacey and Shirley confront Jean and explain to her that she needs help.
Unfortunately for her, when Jean demands they leave, Stacey is forced to take
drastic action. What does she have in mind?
