Upcoming scenes will see Martin and Stacey frantically search for Jean Slater
after the pair learn she was spotted in the square in her wedding dress,
telling the locals she was heading off to get married.
Soon afterwards, Stacey realises her mum must be in Southend. After some
searching, Stacey is shocked when she sees her mum heading into the sea in her
wedding dress.
Thankfully Stacey reaches her in time, and in heartbreaking scenes Jean
realises she must be unwell. Back in Walford, Harvey now understands that Jean
has been unwell this entire time, which leads him to question whether she
really loves him.
Next week, with Jean now in hospital, Stacey is left with another dilemma on her hands. Should she tell her daughter the truth about her nan?
After visiting her mum in hospital, Stacey tells Martin that she wants to
protect Lily from what Jean is going through, but Martin believes honesty is
the best policy. Unfortunately for them, Lily is listening to their every
word.
Lily has already questioned Stacey over the likelihood of her being diagnosed
with bipolar when she's older.
