A few days ago we shared an image of artists working on a June Brown mural
being painted in East London, something fans of the much-loved actress
welcomed in the days following her sad passing. The stunning mural was created
by MurWalls and Gnasher.
Founded in 2019, MurWalls are official international licensed street artists
working with business, charities and community organisations.
Gnasher is a graffiti artist who commissions artwork for record labels, PR
companies and home interior art for celebrities.
The Dot Cotton mural was planned in 2021 with June Brown herself, and also
received the blessing from EastEnders.

The mural was put on hold as the team completed a mural of EastEnders in the underpass in Elstree for Herts Council in January this year.
Speaking of June's passing CEO of Murwalls told us: "Such a sad time, but her legacy lives on and we hope that the mural
will help that further."
EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One.
